Katie Weddle

Level 1 Certified CrossFit Instructor
Katie graduated from Emory University, where she rowed for all 4 years on the crew team. Before college, Katie played both softball and field hockey competitively. After college, she dabbled in various types of exercise, but struggled to find anything that was both fun and effective. She realized she missed the community and friendly competition that comes with being part of a team. Katie first found CrossFit in January of 2011, where she rediscovered the community and competition she had been looking for, and was immediately hooked. What Katie loves most about CrossFit is that it is ever evolving, never boring, and endlessly scalable. She is passionate about helping others foster a love of health and fitness. When she is not at CFSS, Katie is a preschool special education teacher in Montgomery County.
